The Legend of Zelda: Looking Back to Move Forward

In anticipation of Nintendo’s imminent E3 presentation for the latest Legend of Zelda title, we count down the series five best while discussing what each game can teach Nintendo about crafting the very best yet.

The day is finally upon us.  Take all the rumors, negative fanboy backlash, your fake NX leaked controller pictures, and throw it all straight into the garbage.  Nobody cares.  Nintendo is finally ready to unleash its baby, The Legend of Zelda for Wii U (and apparently NX), and show it to the world in a day long stream containing all new game footage, two lengthy hour and a half demos, as well as developer commentary and interviews. So strap in, sharpen your Master Sword, tell Navi to shut up, and lets go save Hyrule.

X-Men: Apocalypse Official Review

In order to really review this movie you need a clear understanding on what 20th Century FOX is trying to do with the franchise. This goes all the way back to 2011's X-Men: First Class, which in essence was an unofficial try at a series reboot. This was solidified by the follow up movie X:Men: Days of Futures Past, which using the characters and setup from First Class, successfully pulled off one of the most impressive franchise reboots while almost unanimously pleasing both fans of the first X-Men trilogy (henceforth to be referred to as the Wolverine Sagas) and the fans of the First Class franchise by using a clever multiple time line trick which is right at home in not only the X-Men universe but comic books in general.

Overwatch Official Review: "We're all soldiers now."

As I put down Overwatch for the first time all evening to write this review, I found myself struggling to do so because I kept wanting to play just "one more match". Overwatch wonderfully finds a balance between being a competitive game that's difficult to master, but still easy enough for new players to pick up and contribute. The large group of playable characters in Overwatch keeps every match feeling fresh and new, in addition to the number of maps that all have different points of entry, defensive options, choke points, and more. I kept wanting to try each character in Overwatch as they all do a great job of helping out your team in some fashion by having defined roles of either offense, defense, tank, or support.

Today's News: VR for Xbox One, New 007, and GTA Online?

I remember back when PS4 announced virtual reality for their console. I also remember saying to myself they're going to have to make a stronger console, otherwise the VR wouldn't work. Fast forward to the Sony announcement for the PS4 upgrade. But how about Xbox One? We know that Microsoft is developing VR for the Xbox One, but its no secret that the Xbox One is inferior in power compared to the PS4. So if the PS4 needed to step up their hardware game, then the Xbox One definitely has to.

Which is leading to extra cups of coffee, energy drinks, turbo shots, you name it. But its all in great fun. We're killing two birds with one stone - time and lifetime years remaining!
